Founding Information
The first operating division of Ram Services, LLC ., was Gill Refrigeration and Air Conditioning and was established in 1980. The company incorporated in 1981 and became Mar Tech Mechanical LTD., T/A Gill Refrigeration and Air Conditioning. The company began as a small residential and commercial service organization with only two employees, Mr. Richard J. Gill, President, Founder and Senior Service Technician along with his wife Mrs. Margaret A. Gill, Treasurer, Co-Founder and Office Manager. Since then, the company has developed and now functions with two different service-based divisions. Those two divisions are Ram Services, specializing in installations of HVACR heavy construction systems and Gill Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, specializing in emergency service repairs and preventative maintenance. The company now employs between 15 and 20 employees and has acquired a wide range of customers in the community, including non-profit, municipal, state and federal government sectors. Through perserverance, hard work, and determination, Ram Service has consistently provided industry excellence and enjoys a reputable name for itself in the Hampton Roads/Greater Tidewater area.
